The all-hands NY State military forces Homeland Response Force training is held in preparation for various disaster scenarios, ensuring the best response in the event of an emergency. The National Guard Homeland Response Force for FEMA Region II deploys here today and will validate its ability to respond to Chemical, Biological, Radiological or Nuclear incidents using this rubble pile as a training site later this week. More than 700 members of the force will train at the Oriskany site or at the New York National Guard Armory in Utica, N.Y.
