a. Awarded administratively by MSC Commanders in MSC Permanent Orders to NYG members with six months consecutive creditable service with 90% attendance at scheduled drills during this period in their first year of service as a member of the NYG. b. Members of HQNYG may only apply to Commander, New York Guard, ATTN: MNSG-PA-AD on DMNA Form 106DGR. c. The NYG-SVC is awarded once. d. The NYG-SVC is a ribbon only and has no pendant medal or miniature medal.
