Legal Affairs' (MNLA) primary mission is to provide principled counsel to The Adjutant General of the New York National Guard (NYNG), the New York Department of Military and Naval Affairs (DMNA) and its Directorates. MNLA strives to maintain the highest legal, moral, and ethical standards. This office pays homage to the JAG Corps by upholding its Values, Warrior Ethos, and emphasis on proper procedures. MNLA strives to provide courteous, competent, caring legal service to Commanders, Officers, Soldiers, Airmen, their family members and military retirees.
