STRATTON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE N.Y--An ATV is loaded onto a CH-47 Chinook from the New York Army National Guards Bravo Co.3rd Battalion 126th Aviation in Rochester, New York on March 18 2019. The ATV accompanied by a five person "strike team" that is part of the 2nd Civil Support Team here. The strike team concept allows for rapid deployment capabilities. The element was being flown to Hamilton College in Oneida County to take part in a four-day long drill.

The museum which is run by the New York State Division of Military and Naval Affairs has been collecting video interviews since 2000.

Brian O'Keefe, New York Army National Guard, representing the New York National Guard for the first time in competition, during the Sprint portion of the 2013 National Guard Eastern Regional Biathlon held at the Ethan Allen Training Site, Jericho Vt., Feb. 9, 2013. The New York National Guard has a long history of creating Olympic Biathletes including Maj. (Ret.) Curtis Schreiner, a three time Olympian. According to the National Guards Biathlon headquarters, located at the Ethan Allen Training Site in Jericho, Vt., members of the National Guard All-Guard Biathlon Team were represented on the 1988, 1992, 1994, 1998, 2002, 2006, and 2010 U.S. Winter Olympic Biathlon Team and is the only Department of Defense (DOD) organization that consistently sends Soldiers to the Olympics.
