Groundbreaking for new facility at Camp Smith

CAMP SMITH-- Assemblywoman Sandra Galef ( far left) joined Maj. Gen. Patrick A. Murphy the Adjutant General of New Yorkand other members of the New York Army National Guard and construction contractors for a ceremonial ground breaking on a new Combined Support Maintenance Shop at Camp Smith Training Site in Cortlandt Manor NY on November 24 2015. The new facility which is expected to be completed by December 2017 is designed to provide maintenance support for approximately 1200 wheeled vehicles assigned to NY Army National Guard units in the Hudson Valley Long Island and New York City areas.
