NYNG Family Programs LogoMilitary Family Assistance Center
  - One Call Does it All! -

Family Assistance Centers are located around the nation to serve the needs of Service Members, their Families, Veterans, or survivors by providing Eight Essential Services. These centers offer information and referral services to all Service Members and their Families regardless of their branch of service or duty status.

NYARNG Family Assistance Centers are located in different geographic locations around the state. Each Family Assistance Center serves the Service Members and their Families that live in that area. Not being located near a military installation or facility is no longer a roadblock to getting services and support. Family Assistance Centers can provide assistance and services that you need where you live. Each Family Assistance Center is staffed with a Military & Family Readiness Specialist.

The eight essential services that Military & Family Readiness Specialists provide are: Crisis Intervention, Legal Resource and Referral, Financial Resource and Referral, Tricare Information, ID cards and DEERS, Community Information and Outreach, Exceptional Family Member Program or EFMP and Emergency Family Assistance Centers.

NYANG Military & Family Readiness Specialists are ready to help assist wherever needed. Located in ten NY locations, MFAS's are easy to reach, one-stop shops for information and referral.
