Classification and Labor Relations

Classification Is responsible for Position Management, Classification policies and standards, Classification appeals, desk audits, position descriptions (PD), PD amendments, statements of differences, PD requests, classification surveys, hazardous duty pay (HDP), environmental differential pay (EDP), Federal Wage System surveys, manning document changes, and organizational charts.

Labor Relations Establishes and maintains effective relationships with labor organizations that represent bargaining unit employees, negotiate and administers labor agreements, confers with labor organizations on behalf of the Adjutant General and agency management, provides guidance, consultation and staff assistance to management on a variety of labor relations matters. Deals with dispute resolutions, Weingarten procedures, and Unfair Labor Practices.
