National Guard Professional Education Training (NGPEC):  For mandatory PEC courses click on the following: FY 16 MANDATORY FULL TIME SUPPORT PEC COURSES . Federal Technicians and AGR's assigned to positions that have Mandatory Training Requirements will be scheduled for training at PEC within the first several months of employment as a condition of continued employment.  Failure of a technician or AGR to complete NGB prescribed course(s) at PEC, within the first year of employment, may be reason for reassignment to other full-time positions or termination from employment.  Reference: NGB Memorandum dated 17 September 2015

Individual Development Plans (IDP's): Individual Development Planning (IDP) is a process for identifying work experience, training and other activities that contribute to improved job performance and self development. This deliberate planning process provides a good framework for development discussions between employee and supervisor. It involves a joint effort between supervisor and employee in assessing the employee’s skills and expertise in relation to current or future job requirements and then identifying appropriate training and other developmental experiences. Please review the powerpoint slides and NGB guidance listed below. If you have further questions, do not hesitate to contact the state HRDS.
