Military Grants & Scholarships

The USAA Guardian Scholarship Fund
Offered to dependent son or daughter of a National Guard member who died in an operational or training mission in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, or Operation New Dawn. Provides up to $25,000 per student over a four-year college education.
The application deadline is June 30, 2024.
The Van Hipp Heroes Scholarship Fund
Offers $1,000 annually for a total of $4,000, to Guardsmen wounded in an operational or training mission in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, or Operation New Dawn who are pursuing college degrees.
The application deadline is July 1, 2024.
Rainbow Division Veterans Foundation (RDVF) Scholarship
Has approved over $165,000 in college scholarship money to current Soldiers of the 42d Infantry Division and descendants of RDVF members. Instructions Application
Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty ROTC Scholarship Program
Provides Soldiers with a 2 year Full scholarship (No tuition cap), plus $1200 annually for schoolbooks for Soldiers that are MSO qualified and enroll in ROTC.
United States Military Academy (West Point, NY) Service-Connected Nomination Process
Opportunities for enlisted members of the New York Army National Guard to attend the United States Military Academy and the USMA Preparatory School through service-connected nominations.
