Military Grants & Scholarships
The USAA Guardian Scholarship Fund
Offered to dependent son or daughter of a National Guard member who died in an operational or training mission in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, or Operation New Dawn. Provides up to $25,000 per student over a four-year college education. The application deadline is June 30, 2024.
The Van Hipp Heroes Scholarship Fund
Offers $1,000 annually for a total of $4,000, to Guardsmen wounded in an operational or training mission in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, or Operation New Dawn who are pursuing college degrees. The application deadline is July 1, 2024.
