Independence Day Reenlistments in Kabul

Colonel Brian K. Balfe, commander of Combined Joint Task Force Phoenix,and the New York Army National Guard's 27th Brigade Combat Team, leads 20 re-enlisting Soldiers of the New York Army National Guard in the oath of service from Patriot Square, Camp Phoenix, Kabul.
The re-enlistment ceremony,and a five-kilometer fun-run marked The 4th of July events for Soldiers in Camp Phoenix, whose job is to train the Afghan National Army and Police.
