Off Peak Bonus 6 year enlistment, minimum AFQT 31, authorized MTOE/Medical TDA unit, E4 and below, ships for training between Oct and Apr within same fiscal year $5,000
Prior Service Enlistment Bonus (PSEB) 3 or 6 year enlistment, less than 16 years time in service, authorized MTOE / Medical TDA unit, E7 and below $7,500 - $20,000
Enlisted Affiliation Bonus (EAB) 3 or 6 year enlistment, less than 16 years time in service, contract in critical Military Occupational Skill (MOS), E7 and below $5,000 - $20,000
Officer Accession Bonus (OAB) In connection with initial appointment as an Officer and upon completion of OBC and assignment in a Critical Military Occupation (MOS) $10,000
Warrant Officer Accession Bonus (WOAB) In connection with initial appointment as a Warrant Officer and upon completion of WOBC and assignment in a Critical Military Occupation (MOS) $20,000
Officer Affiliation Bonus (OAFB) Officer Affiliation Bonus is suspended --
Warrant Officer Affiliation Bonus (WOAFB) 6 year enlistment, contract W2 to W4, critical MOS, and must not reach 60 years of age during term of agreement $20,000
Medical Professional Qualified medical professionals who access into the NYARNG Up to $75,000

Retention Bonuses

Extension / Re-enlistment Bonus (REB) 2 or 6 year extension / reenlistment, ETS window 365-1 days, less than 13 years time in service at the start of contract, E7 and below $4,000 - $20,000
MOS Conversion Bonus (MOSCB) E6 and below (E6 must have less than 10 years time in service), MOS to be filled must be less than 90%, requires 3 years obligation. Note: Soldier serving under initial enlistment with an incentive is NOT eligible. $4,000

Montgomery GI Bill-Selected Reserve (MGIB-SR) 6 year enlistment, HS diploma or GED, complete Initial Active Duty Training (IADT) View rates here
Montgomery GI Bill Kicker (MGIB Kicker) (Enlisted) Eligible for MGIB-SR, Chapter 30 and Chapter 33, minimum AFQT 50 (NPS only), PS/current members must be DMOSQ, 6 year enlistment/reenlistment, and serve in critical skill/unit $350/mo

Montgomery GI Bill Kicker (MGIB Kicker) (Officers) Eligible for MGIB-SR, Chapter 30 and Chapter 33, enter commissioning program (OCS, WOCS and ROTC), 6 year agreement, sign DA Form 5447-R within 90 days of commissioning $350/mo
Medical & Dental Student Stipend Program (MDSSP) Available to qualified medical & dental students through residency Varies
Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP) Assists in repayment of eligible student loans for qualified NYARNG Soldiers. Up to $50,000
Specialized Training Assistance Program (STRAP) Available qualified Resident Physicians and Nurses completing their BSN Varies
Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP) Two year program for qualified college students that earns you a Master’s of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies and test for the National certification through the National Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Multiple Options
Healthcare Professional Loan Repayment Program (HPLRP) Available to qualified Physicians, Resident Physicians, Dentists, Optometrists, Physician Assistants, Medical/Surgical Nurses, Social Workers, and Clinical Psychologists. for pre-existing, federal loans Multiple Options
Chaplain Load Repayment Program (CLRP) Must be a newly accessed Chaplain in the ARNG or currently hold an appointment as an ARNG Chaplain $20,000
Guaranteed Reserve Force Duty (GRFD) Scholarship 2 year scholarship for MOS qualified soldiers in the GUARD who enroll into the ROTC-SMP program Uncapped, 100% Tuition, no $ limit
Dedicated ARNG (DedARNG) Scholarship 2, 2.5, and 3- year scholarships for Non-Prior Service Soldiers who are not MOS qualified who enroll into the ROTC-SMP with the GUARD Uncapped, 100% Tuition, no $ limit
