LATHAM, NY- New York Air National Guard Master Sgt. Willie Gizara, pretends to be a penguin as he presents his program, "A Visit to Antarctica" to the children of military parents attending the New York National Guard Family Symposium Nov. 8-9.
Gizara, the multi-media manager for the 109th Airlift Wing, which flies ski-equipped C-130s to the South Pole, also mugs it up with a penguin on screen.
Gizara's presentation was one of a number of events the 85 children who attended the weekend participated in while their parents--volunteers who make the National Guard's Family Readiness Group's work--were discussing better ways to take care of military families.
