Tarrytown, NY-- New York Governor David Paterson (right) "coins" New York Army National Guard 1st Lt. Tara Dawe, on Saturday Dec. 5, during a visit to her company's Yellow Ribbon pre-mobilizatiopn meeting here. Major General Joseph Taluto, the Adjutant General of New York, looks on.
Dawe, the commander of the New York Army National Guards 442nd Military Police Company deployed with the unit to Iraq in 2003-2004 as an enlisted Soldier. Dawe, who joined the Army in 1994, will lead the company back to Iraq in 2010.
