Army Strong for 235 Years

ALBANY - Private First Class Corey Hines, 7th Finance Detachment, New York Army National Guard, the youngest Soldier in attendance, assists Brig. Gen. Michael Swezey, commander of the 53rd Troop Command in cutting the Army Birthday cake at the New York State Museum on June 14,on the 235th Birthday of the U.S. Army.
U.S Army Active Duty Recruiting Command and New York Army National Guard Soldiers assembled for the event in front of the museum’s Citizen-Soldier display which is a historical tribute to the New York National Guard.
