LATHAM-- Major General Patrick Murphy, the Adjutant General of New York, gets his new two-star rank pinned on by his mother, Carolyn Murphy, of Dike, Iowa.
Murphy, whose promotion to state Major General was confirmed in March, delayed his pinning ceremony until his mother and other family members could be present.
