FORT SNELLING, MN--Members of the New York National Guard’s Military Forces Honor Guard participate in a standing proficiency drill during the 2010 Army National Guard Honor Guard Competition at Fort Snelling, Minn. The drill tested their ability in maintaining military bearing and rifle movements.
The New York team bested seven other competitors in the grueling, week long, competition which was judged by members of the Third Infantry Regiment, The Old Guard, who perform funeral honors at Arlington National Cemetery.
