ROME-- Col. Dawne L. Deskins receives the Eastern Air Defense Sector guidon Friday morning from Lt. Gen. Stanley E. Clarke, Commander, Continental U.S. North American Aerospace Defense Command Region (CONR)/1st Air Force (Air Forces Northern). The passing of the guidon of the New York Air National Guard unit symbolizes Col. Deskins assumption of command.
