ROME-- Col. Dawne L. Deskins receives the Eastern Air Defense Sector guidon Friday morning from Lt. Gen. Stanley E. Clarke, Commander, Continental U.S. North American Aerospace Defense Command Region (CONR)/1st Air Force (Air Forces Northern). The passing of the guidon of the New York Air National Guard unit symbolizes Col. Deskins assumption of command. Also pictured is Command Chief Master Sergeant Richard King, the Command Chief Master Sergeant of the New York Air National Guard.
