2-108th Infantry Trains for Overseas Mission

CAMP SHELBY, Miss. -- Sgt. Tony Shelton (right) speaks with a role player in a mock village during a field training exercise here March 9. Taylor belongs to the 2nd Battalion, 108th Infantry, 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, and brigade Soldiers are here preparing to deploy overseas. Soldiers like Shelton learned how to gather information by making friendly conversation with civilians, and the exercise tested the battalion&rsquot;s ability to perform its Afghanistan mission.
