1SG Hansen from F Company 1-169th General Support Aviation Battalion instructs the procedures of a Medevac to members of the Army Reserve’s 401st Civil Affairs Battalion, Maynard Volunteer Fire Department, and Stittville Volunteer Fire Department.
F Company 1-169th flew two UH-60 Blackhawks configured for Medevac to Marcy, NY to assist in a joint training exercise between the Army Reserve and local fire departments. Members from the fire departments would later work with soldiers from the 401st CA to call in 9 line Medevac requests to the waiting helicopters.
