NEW YORK-- A New York Army National Guard UH-60 Blackhawk flies in front of the Freedom Tower, which is under construction in New York City, during a mission in support of Operation Sandy, the New York National Guard response to Hurricane Sandy's impact on New York City and Long Island. More than 3,000 New York National Guard Soldiers and Airmen are on duty and Army National Guard helicopters had flown more than 75 missions as of Nov. 9.
