KANDAHAR- New York Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to Rochester’s Detachment 1, Company B, 3rd Battalion 126th Aviation (Heavy Lift) load CH-47 helicopters onto a C-5 Galaxy as they prepare to return home to the United States following a nine-month deployment in Afghanistan on April 20. The helicopters arrived at the Army Aviation Support Facility in Rochester on April 22. The Soldiers return to the United States for outprocessing at Fort Hood in May.
