LATHAM, N.Y. - New York Army National Guard Sgt. 1st Class Gregory Martin, medical noncommissioned officer of the 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade, prepares for his third deployment with his wife, Donna Mare. The brigade headquarters held its deployment ceremony for more than 150 Soldiers and their families at the Shaker HIgh School here September 7. "We are trained and ready to go to Kuwait," Martin said. "About 70% of the Soldiers have not deployed, so any lessons I have learned I'll have to impart on my soldiers."
