New Commander at Hancock Field

HANCOCK FIELD AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE-- New York Air National Guard Col. Michael R. Smith the new commander of the 174th Attack Wing accepts the guidon from New York Air National Guard Maj. Gen. Anthony P. German the Commander of the New York Air National Guard during change of command ceremonies at Hancock Field in Syracuse, N.Y. on April 3 2016. Passing the guidon is a military tradition referring to the transfer of responsibility from one commander to another.
