CAMP NIANTIC, CT--New York Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Garett Cummings, the New York National Guard NCO of the Year, crosses the finish line during the forced march component of the Northeast Regional Best Warrior Competition at Camp Niantic, Connecticut on May 4, 2016. Cummings, a member of the 106th Regional Training Institute, was one of seven NCOs vying to be the best in the northeast.
