FORT DRUM Sgt. Mitchell Stogel, a infantryman assigned to Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment, 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, performs a functions check on a M2A1 machine gun during the 27th IBCT Best Warrior competition at Fort Drum, N.Y., Feb. 11. Stogel was named the top NCO in the 27th Brigade during the competition, Soldiers were tested on their military knowledge and physical endurance.
