GABRESKI AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE --New York Air National Guard Airmen assigned to the 106th Rescue Wing loading rescue boats onboard a C-17 at Gabreski Air National Guard Base on Feb. 27 2017 enroute to Hawaii where they will conduct training on systems designed by the Department of Defense Human Spaceflight Support Office and NASA to recover the crew module of NASAs Orion spacecraft. The exercise will include dropping fully loaded boats to assist in spacecraft recovery.
