NEW YORK-- New York Army National Guardsmen assigned to 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment once again led the New York City's St. Patrick's Day Parade here Mar. 17. The regiment, which has a long and storied history with the parade began its day by attending mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral before taking a place of honor at the head of the world famous parade.
