Chainsaw training for NY Guard volunteers

Camp Smith--Members of the New York Guard, the state's volunteer defense force, conduct chain saw training during their week-long annual training at Camp Smith Training Site in Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. on Sept. 26, 2018. The 500-member force augments the New York National Guard for state missions during weather disasters or security alerts. They provide logistical and mission support to the National Guard.
