FORT DRUM--New York Army National Guard Lt. Col. April Bennett (left), the 152nd Brigade Engineer battalion commander, and battalion Command Sgt. Maj. Christopher Czarnecki, uncase the new unit flag, at Fort Drum, N.Y., on Oct. 20, 2018 during a ceremony marking the transition of the unit from the 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion to the brigade engineer battalion. Bennett and Czarnecki unfurled the flag to mark the end of the conversion of the unit from a special troops battalion to an engineer battalion with two engineer companies instead of one.
