STRATTON AIR GUARD BASE--A finished crate constructed by Airmen of the 109th Airlift Wing and designed to carry the landing gear skis that enable wing's LC-130s to land on ice and snow, sits on a trailer ready to be shipped to Antarctica for use at Stratton Air National Guard Base in Scotia N.Y. in December 2019. The 109th Airlift Wings Logistical Readiness Squadron designed the new crates to carry the 25-foot long skis of the wing's LC-130s.
