SCHENECTADY -- An LC-130 ski-equipped aircraft from the 109th Airlift Wing lifts off the runway at Stratton Air Natrional Guard Base in Scotia, New York on the way to New Zealand on Nov. 23. Three aircraft and 31 Airmen from the wing will be on standby in Christchurch, New Zealand to fly missions to Antarctica if required.
