LATHAM-- A casket holding the remains of New York Army National Guard Chief Warrant Officer 2 Casey Frankoski is carried off an LC-130 flown by the 109th Airlift Wing at the Army Aviation Support Facility in Latham on March 18, 2024. The aircraft carried the remains of Frankoski and Chief Warrant Officer 2 John Grassia, who were killed in a March 8 helicopter crash in Texas from San Antonio, Texas to Latham.
