The NY National Guard Military Forces Honor Guard returns a Civil War Soldier to Saratoga

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Members of the New York National Guard's Military Forces Honor Guard return the remains of an Unknown New York Soldier from the Civil War's Antietam Battlefield to the NYS Military History Museum in Saratoga Springs, Sept. 16. The Soldier's remains will remain in state for the public at the museum through 8 pm on Sept 16. The Unknown Soldier's funeral will be held Sept. 17 at the Gerald B.H.
