42nd Division Officer Honored By Artist

TUXEDO, NY--Barbara Allen and her sons Trevor, Collin, Sean and Jeremy, pose with a picture of her husband, 1st Lt. Lou Allen, who was killed in Tikrit, Iraq in June 2005, during a ceremony honoring Allen and his family held on Friday, Jan. 22 at George F. Baker High School, where Allen taught.
Allen, who was assigned to the 42nd Infantry Division, was killed in a non-combat incident.
His portrait was painted by Phil Taylor of the American Fallen Soldiers Project who honors Soldiers by painting their portraits for their families.
