The Color Guard of the 27th Brigade Combat Team, New York Army National Guard, leads the way as 1400 Afghanistan-bound Soldiers conduct a review as part of farewell ceremonies March 27 at Fort Bragg, N.C. Nearly 1800 family members and friends turned out for the ceremony that climaxes the unit's training. The New York Soldiers will be responsible for training the Afghan National Army and Police during their ten-month tour in Afghanistan.
