Sgt. Garvin Berry of Company B, 642nd Aviation Support Battalion assists Sgt. Michael Broderick, a member of Company E 3rd Battalion, 142nd Aviation with aiming a M-203 grenade launcher down range for maximum effect at Fort Drum's Range 17-A.
Members of the battalion are training at Fort Drum through April 25 as preparation for a deployment to Iraq later this summer.
The 3rd-142nd Aviation, which has elements based in Latham, Albany County, and at Ronkonkoma on Long Island, will provide transportation support for Multi-National Corps-Iraq during a tne month deployment.
