New York Army National Guard Specialist Gregory Dippel from Oswego, New York hands a bag of personal hygiene items to a resident of the Tahai Maskan Boys Orphanage in Tahal Maskan, Afghanistan, during a humanitarium relief mission conducted by Company B 427th Combat Support Battalion on 23 October.
The company, serving as part of the logistics task force for Combined Joint Task Force Phoenix, commanded by the New York Army National Guard's 27th Brigade Combat Team, trains the Afghan National Army and Police.
The Company, whose mechanics repair task force equipment, brought 15 pallets of items donated by New Yorkers for the 350 orphans at the home.
