New York Guard Soldiers Honored For Service

Captain Joseph Merrill from Binghamton congratulates Spec. Kevin MacNeill from Whitney Point as he presents the New York Army National Guard Soldier with an Army Commendation Medal for serving in Afghanistan with the 27th Brigade Combat Team during an awards ceremony held Friday, Nov. 14 in Kabul.
Almost 50 members of Company D, 2nd Battalion 108th Infantry, received awards during the event.
These included 15 Combat Infantryman's Badge awards, and two awards of the Combat Action Badge for non-infantry Soldiers
