BAGHDAD--New York Army National Guard Pfc. Steven P. Fitzgerald and his fianc饠and fellow Guard member Spc. Viviana B. Molina, of the 3-142nd Assault Helicopter Battalion, review intelligence reports before a briefing in Iraq.
Fitzgerald, is an 18-year veteran of the New York City Fire Department, and joined the National Guard when he was 41 years old.
The battalion, which has units on Long Island and in the Albany area, deployed to Iraq in August.
