Piwowarski case the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, New York Army National Guard, colors to mark the end of their tour as Combined Joint Task Force Phoenix command. The 27th IBCT then moved authority of CJTF Phoenix to the 33rd IBCT, Illinois National Guard, as part of the Transfer of Authority ceremony at Camp Phoenix, Kabul, Afghanistan.
