ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Canadian CH-47 "Chinook" pilot Capt. Sylvie Coutoure, 430th Squadron, Canadian Air Force, performs pre-flight checks at the Army Aviation Support Facility #2 here on Jan. 21 aboard a New York Army National Guard aircraft.
Canadian avaitors are preparing for an upcoming deployment to Afghanistan and partnered with the Rochester-based Company B, 3rd Battalion, 126th Aviation for a two-week training period.
The 126th Aviation recently returned from a 10-month deployment flying missions in Afghanistan.
