LATHAM, N.Y. - Colonel Michael Bobeck, State Aviation Officer, delivers a farewell address to ten Soldiers of Detachment 20, Operational Support Airlift Command, on Friday, March 13, before they boarded a military C-26 aircraft bound for Fort Benning, Ga. for some pre-mobilization training.
Detachment 20 will be conducting aerial reconnaissance in Afghanistan, detecting the presence of Improvised Explosive Devices and assisting Soldiers on the ground using unmanned aircraft.
