FORT DIX, N.J. - About 130 aviation Soldiers from 3rd Battalion, 142nd Aviation Regiment got back on home soil here on May 17 after a year in Iraq.
On hand to greet Soldiers as they got off their charterd flight were 42nd Infantry Division commander, Brig. Gen. Steven Wickstrom and 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade commander, Col.Michael Bobeck.
The 142nd will spend about a week at Fort Dix conducting their demobilization process.
