UNIONDALE-- Mr. Chris Valentino, admissions counselor for John Jay College of Criminal Justice, provides New York Army National Guard Pfc. Marco Torres, a member of the 1st Battalion 69th Infantry, with information about continued education opportunities in the National Guard during the New York Army National Guard Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program meeting at the Uniondale Marriott Hotel, June. 13.
Torres, who missed the reintegration for the 69th, took advantage of the session being held for the 133rd Quartermaster Company.
I was not ready to be around large groups of people when I first came home," he explained. Now was a better time to interact in a large group environment and having my daughter involved means a lot to me, said Torres.
