HANCOCK FIELD AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE- Syracuse-area reporters interview New York Air National Guard Col. John Balbierer about the MQ-9 Reaper, the unmanned attack aircraft the wing is slated to begin operating later this year. Balbierer is the 174th Fighter Wing Maintenance Group Commander.
The wing held a media day on Friday,June 26 to educate the local press about the new aircraft. The reporters received a briefing from the Wing Commander, Col. Kevin Bradley, toured the Reaper maintenance training facility that has been constructed on the base and got a chance to see how the Reaper ground control station works
