FORT DRUM - Heavy lifting is a specialty for Detachment 1, Company B, 126th Aviation as Staff Sgt. Mickey LaBelle connects a sling to one of their CH-47D Chinook helicopters at U.S. Air Force Range 48, at Fort Drum, June 22.
The 126th sling-loaded and moved the conex's to recreate an airfield on the range so that aircraft can simulate an air assault on an airfield while doing aerial gunnery.
