Naval Militia on Watch on Lake Champlain

ROUSES POINT--New York Naval Militia Petty Officer Garrett Aldershoff, a Scotia resident, scans the waters of Lake Champlain on July 25, during an operation supporting the United States Border Patrol.
During July the New York Naval Militia assisted Border Patrol members in stopping and inspecting pleasure craft entering the United States from Canada at the very top of Lake Champlain.
This is the second year the Naval Milita has assisted in this mission.
