NIAGARA FALLS-- New York Air National Guard Master Sgt. Robert Farina embraces his children on August 16 after being apart for more than six months while providing security at Sather Air Base in Iraq.
Farina a member of the 107th Airlift Wing Security Forces Squadron was among the first wave of deployed SFS members to return home Sunday. Earlier in the year Farina and other SFS members were called upon to ensure the security of Sather Air Base, Baghdad, Iraq. "I'm, proud to serve my country but it's great to back home with my family," Farina said.
