RONKONKOMA, N.Y. - Soldiers from Headquarters Company, 3rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 142nd Aviation Regiment file past Brig. Gen. Steven R. Wickstrom, commander of the 42nd Infantry Division (far left) and Col. Michael Bobeck, 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade commander at the conclusion of their Freedom Salute on the campus of St. Joseph�s College, Sept. 13.
The 142nd deployed in 2008 for nearly a year and took command and control of 27 additional UH-60 Blackhawks and nearly 600 Soldiers shortly after arriving in Iraq.
