NY Soldier Receives Salute from Hofstra University

UNIONDALE, LONG ISLAND -- Retired Lt. Col. Paul Farinella, Hofstra University Class of 1969 and President of the University Veteran Alumni Chapter presents the Veteran of the Year salute to New York Army National Guard Second Lieutenant Mark H. Getman for his service to state and nation on October 24th 2009.

Getman, a 1994 graduate of Hofstra, joined 1968 grad retired Col. Paul J. Flora for this year's award presentation.
